While we strive to provide reliable and high-quality services, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance due to factors beyond our control, such as internet outages, hardware failures, or third-party actions.

3. Account Setup and Management

To use Hostlika’s services, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information during the registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account. Hostlika reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if it detects suspicious activity or violations of these Terms.

4. Payment Terms

All payments for Hostlika’s services are due in advance. Prices are subject to change without prior notice, and all fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in our refund policy.

• Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit/debit cards, mobile money (MTN Uganda and Airtel Uganda), Mpesa (Safaricom Kenya) bank transfers, and other methods supported by Hostlika.
• Late Payments: Failure to pay on time will result in suspension and termination of your services.
• Termination: A service will be terminated after 30 days of failure to pay the invoices or renew the service. Therefore Hostlika will not be able to provide your website files or emails as they would have been deleted from our servers.
• Refunds: Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to our refund policy, which can be found on our website.

5. Intellectual Property

Hostlika retains all rights, titles, and interests in its proprietary software, trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works based on our content without explicit written permission.

Additionally, you retain ownership of any content you upload to our servers (e.g., websites, files, databases). However, by using our services, you grant Hostlika a limited license to store, process, and display such content as necessary to provide the services.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities while using Hostlika’s services:

• Hosting illegal content, including but not limited to pornography, hate speech, or copyrighted material without proper authorization.
• Engaging in spamming, phishing, or other forms of malicious behavior.
• Distributing malware, viruses, or other harmful software.
• Conducting denial-of-service attacks or other disruptive activities.
• Violating the privacy or intellectual property rights of others.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

7. Limitation of Liability

Hostlika shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our services. This includes but is not limited to:

• Loss of data or revenue.
• Interruptions in service due to unforeseen circumstances.
• Actions or omissions of third parties.

Our liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service in question during the preceding 12 months.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms or engage in activities that could harm Hostlika or its users. Upon termination:

• You will no longer have access to our services.
• Any unused credits or prepaid amounts will not be refunded unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Any disputes arising under or related to these Terms shall be resolved in accordance with Ugandan law, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Uganda.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Hostlika harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of our services.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Changes to Terms

Hostlika reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and it is your responsibility to review them periodically. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
